La semaine dernière, j'ai proposé à 7 enfants de peindre les feuilles d'un arbre d'Automne à l'aide d'un bouquet de...coton tiges ! Ils ont trouvé ça surprenant mais amusant. Je les fais peindre régulièrement avec 1 coton tige, mais c'est la première fois que je leur en donne un bouquet.
Last week, 7 children came with me to paint leaves of an Autumn tree with a bunh of...Cotton buds ! They found it a bit surprising but funny. I often give them cotton buds to paint, but one by one. It was the 1st time they used them as a bunch.
Kérane, la plus petite, a goûté à toutes les couleurs et sa préférence est allée au vert :-D Ce qu'elle a préféré, c'est peindre sur la table./ Kérane was the youngest. She tasted every colour before and during the painting session and she seemed to enjoy the green very much :-D But what she prefered was to paint on the table.
Driss lui a trouvé ça marrant dès le départ, ça l'a fait rire, ce n'est qu'en fin de séance qu'il a mis les coton tiges à la bouche, histoire de voir quel goût ça avait. Il semblerait que ça ne lui ai pas plu :-)/ Driss found this funny from the beginning. When I gave him the bung, he laughed and it's only at the end of the session that he tasted the cotton buds full of paint. Hedidn't seem to appreciate what he tasted though :-)
Louise et Gaston, les plus grands, ont tout de suite compris la consigne et se sont montrés très appliqués./ Louise and Gaston were the oldest and understood immediately what it was meant for. Their work was very careful.
Lou a trouvé tout cela un peu étrange. Il lui a fallu un petit moment pour se sentir à l'aise avec l'activité mais finalement, ça lui a bien plu. Elle était surprise de voir les traces que les coton tiges laissaient./ As to Lou, she found this a bit weird. She needed some time to feel comfortable with the activity but eventually she liked it. She was surprised to discover the litlle marks the cotton buds left on the sheet.
Pour Judith, la peinture à la crèche était une première. Elle a donc pris le temps d'observer Louise et Gaston avant de se lancer./ It was the first opportunity for Judith to paint at the Nursery. She took her time to observe Louise and Gaston before trying to do the same.
Et Yushi, bien qu'il ne comprenne pas encore bien le français, a été très volontaire. Il a adoré peindre. Comme Lou, les traces l'ont surpris puis ça lui a plu et il s'est mis à tapoter un peu partout mais toujours avec méthode. / Yushi was the last one but not the lesat :-) he still doesn't understand French very well but was very willing to participate. He really enjoyed painting that way. Like Lou, he was 1st suprised by the marks left by the cotton buds and then tried to fill all the branches of the tree, with great care.
